Hi 4J and 4C,
For 4J, you went to the Aeroponics Farm yesterday.
I am sure, all of you including 4C had learnt something during our trip there.
Not only you know more about AVA but also another method of growing plants - Aeroponics.
In Ai Tong School, we have our Organic Farm to grow vegetables. You have been to our school farm quite a number of times.

I learnt that plants can grow without soil and can grow hanging in the air.i also learnt that some plants can be extinct easily as there is only a few of thos plants on earth.I also learnt that i should not destroy plant again as they are very precious..
i learn that i can also grow plant on air and the plant can grow healthly then on soil.

i learnt that plants that grow the aeroponic is a good way.When they give us to eat the lettuce with the sauce,it was FANTASTIC.i also learnt that rain water can be sometimes acidic.Plants are a good source of food for us.
i learnt that plants do not need soil to grow.they will spray a liquid that contains minerals for the plant.
i learnt that plants do not need soil to grow it just need to spray some liquid.and i learnt about what is AEROPONICS!!Aunty Margaret said an example that it is like taking a shower!!(i thinnk i think that i have forgotten!!)(Sorry Mdm Suriana)

On our excursion yesterday,I learnt that plants can grow without soil.This way,there will not be any pests that will eat the vegetables.I also learnt about the difference about the Aeroponics Farm,and the Hydroponics Farm.In the Aeroponics Farm,the plant's roots are hanging in the air,and the sprinklers below them give them water and the nutrients that they need.In the Hydroponics Farm,the plant's roots are dipped into the water.Like the Aeroponics Farm,the water will give it nutrients that they need.
I have learnt that the plants in the aeroponics farm get water and nutrients from a spray underneath the roots.
It is also more hygenic and cleaner.The plants are like getting a shower.It also SAVES more water as the water is recycled.
I am happy that men are so clever to invent things like this.

On our excursion to Areoponics Farm,I learnt the difference between aeroponics and hydroponics.Aunt Margaret said that aeroponics means like taking a shower and hydroponics means like being in a bathtub. The way they grow the plants is very interesting as they do not use soil,instead they spray a liquid on the roots so that the plant gets nutrients.I also learnt about the difference about the Aeroponics Farm and the Hydroponics Farm.In the Aeroponics Farm,the plant's roots are hanging in the air,and the sprinklers below them give them water and the nutrients that they need.In the Hydroponics Farm,the plant's roots are dipped into the water.
I learnt that a Cotton Rose can change colour when it is morning,afternoon and night.I,Joseph and the whole class watch a video that shows us about vegetable farms and egg farm.On recess,we ate salad with thousand island.however,before that we went to the Hydroponics farm and their roots are steamed and they were in the water.Aeroponics farm is their roots are hanging in the air and sprinkles were sprayed onto the roots.(sorry madm Suriana that I did not right much because I can't think of anymore things)

I learnt that plant can grow without soil and grow in air.Aeroponics is like a shower which the water sprays on you,hydroponics is like taking a bath which u soak in a bath tub.After break time,Aunt Magaret let us smell some herbs and see the cotton flower.When it is time to go back,Aunt Magaret gave a each a bottle to drink.I learnt that plant gives out different smell and we must not destroy plants.

I learnt that plants can also grow without soil.I learnt new things and some well also some new pants I had never seen before.Example the cotton rose.The laksa leaf,mint leaf,spring onion and the curry leaf!Most of my friend say it was boring but to me it was fun because we have to pick pupils up!When we have recess,Jia Zhen,Isabel and me went to the shop to buy food but........... I saw beautiful souviniers! I quite like the ice creams there! I learnt that different plants have different the onion smell is the most smelliest smell and the Cotten flower changes colour hi hi hi bopkjh err sorry my bmeptqipa my little bro is whoa bye bye -ken
and there is too you know in the aeroponic farm they grow cabbage or lettuece without soil and they put small ones in another place the big ones put in other place andit is (not too sure)inthe green house may be
I have learnt that not only plants(some plants)needed to be in the soil but the roots might be hanging up on the leaves but it must be watered in a certain time.The learning journey is so intresting and I have learnt many things from the learning journey.

I learnt that plant are so special as they can live in lots of ways like:not in soil(Aeroponics)and in soil.They are very preasious as without them we will not have vegetables to eat,so we should not do cruel things to them.
On Monday, I went to the aeroponics farm.I learnt that plants can grow without soil. They can grow in two ways, either the hydroponics way or the aeroponics way. In aeroponics, the nutrient solution is sprayed on the roots, just like taking a shower. In the hydroponics way the plants' roots is soaked in the nutrient solution,just like taking a bath. Last of all, I would like to say that plants are a type of immportant daily neccesity,they are very very very very very very PRECIOUS!
It was my first time going to the Aeroponics Farm.I learnt the difference between aeroponic and the hydroponic.The aeroponics is like you are showering but the hydroponic is like you are taking a bath.They do not use soil but they spray a liquid on the roots so that they get nutrients.

i learnt that plants can grow without soil, it could be sprayed and soaked. i also learned that some plants growed the aeroponics or hydroponics way can grow up to 50 times faster than usual.the greenhouse can protect the plants from rain that destroy them, and still giving them enough sunlight. there is a nursery for baby plants with more protection to grow in...
I didn't go on the LJ on Monday but I have somthing to tell.I had to go and make my last practice on Monday since I had my copetition on Tuesday.I won one Medal there but it was a Bronze one.Which meant I got third place, but it wasn't the team also got it.It was and indivisual one.My friend had four Medals which are:Gold,Silver,Silver and Silver.
And he was only P2.I scored quite well for the competition but the team didn't get anything only the indiviusal ones got it.
That is all have today.
